The Dolder Grand Hotel is one of the most luxury hotels I’ve visited. Situated on top of a hill surrounded by nature with an incredible view of the city of Zurich, the lake and the Alps. As soon as you set feet inside the Main Building, you are surrounded by a noble corridor full of illustrious artworks. Most striking one is probably Andy Warhol’s Big Retrospective Painting ( above the front desk ).
The hotel is a combination of the traditional and the modern.
The rooms are an expression of tranquility and delightfulness. They are spacious , newfangled and have great views. I love the rooms in the new wing. They have marvelous bathrooms and modern amenities.
Member of Leading Spas of the World, the 4000sqm Spa is a must! Everything from the swimming pool to the treatments rooms are designed with great taste. The treatments are executed with La Prairie, Kerstin Florian and Amala products. Try the Beauty Facial by La Prairie.
This hotel is just a perfect place to take care of yourself but of course all this has a price.
No wonder Leonardo DiCaprio felt so comfortable strolling through the hotel corridors, exploring the lobby and using the spa during his stay
